We have summarized the most frequently asked questions from our customers about men’s hair replacement system for your reference. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
1. I work out a lot and spend most of my time sweating. Which system is the most breathable and suitable for a very active lifestyle?
Full lace hair systems are the most breathable and light-weight styles. We also have combined bases of lace and skin which are also breathable and easy to apply and remove. We recommend you to remove the hair system and do a thorough clean once a week if you sweat a lot every day.
2. I am looking for the most secure attachment. Which base shall I choose?
If bonded correctly, all our hair systems provide you with a secure attachment. If you care for your hair system properly( by removing, cleaning and re-bonding every 2-4 weeks), it will stay securely.
Nevertheless, if you are looking for the strongest attachment, many of our clients have best experience with the full skin base. You need to apply liquid adhesive all over the scalp before wearing a full skin base hair system, which guarantees the most secure fit
3. Will wearing a hair system cause any damage to my scalp? I haven't completely ruled out the possibility of a hair transplant in the future.
It will not damage your scalp or existing hair, provided the hair system is kept clean and maintained correctly. The hair system may actually provides protection to a certain extent against the sun and will protect sensitive scalps from the elements.
4. How long will I receive the hair system after I place my order?
It depends on where you are located and the hair systems you ordered.
The delivery time includes two parts and they are order processing time and shipping time. Our stock hair systems require 3-4 business days processing time while a custom order around 6 weeks.
For US orders, we provide 3 shipping methods. Ground shipping takes 4-7 business days, US Air shipping takes 2-3 business days and US Express shipping 1-2 business days.
For international orders, the shipping time usually takes 6-12 business days.
We cannot guarantee the shipping time in the case of national crises, holidays, natural disasters, carrier delays or other circumstances where the delay is beyond our control.
5. How often do I have to replace a hair system?
It mainly depends on which base you choose for the hair system because different bases have different lifespans. Our ultra-thin skin base (0.03mm) has a lifespan of about 2 months while our mono base hair system can last up to a year with the correct care.
Besides this, the frequency you wear it and the way how you care and maintain your hair system also affects its lifespan.
6. Can I swim, shower or sleep with my hair system on?
Yes. You can definitely sleep, swim and shower with it on and probably do anything in it. It shouldn’t stop you from doing anything. However, chlorine in pools can be harmful to the hair and make the hair drier. So, we would recommend you deep condition the hair after you go swimming to help refresh the hair.
7. I swim a lot. Which kind of adhesive should I use for most secure attachment?
If your hair is exposed to water frequently, you are strongly recommended to use water-proof tape or adhesives. It is proved that acrylic adhesives (Ultra Hold) or a Blue Liner Lace tape functions very well for secure attachment.
8. How long should I have the hair system bonding on my head once I put it on?
The total time of bonding depends on factors like the adhesive used, your skin type, the climate, and your lifestyle. We recommend you only remove it and get it cleaned every 1-2 weeks to extend the lifespan of the hair system. If you don’t sweat a lot and live in a dry climate, you can leave it on for longer time, about 3-4 weeks.
If you attach a lace hair system with liquid adhesive, we don’t recommend you to wear it for more than two weeks in a row. If you wear it for too long time, the adhesive will penetrate through the lace which makes it very difficult to clean.
9. I have problems with removing the tape from the lace base of my hair system. Do you have any tips for this?
Before removing the lace hair system from the scalp, apply the spray adhesive remover to the area where the tape is and soak the tape for several minutes. Find the edge of the base in the back and lift it a little. Then use a towel to remove the tapes gently.
10. Will the lace match my skin color?
The lace color of all the stock hair systems is beige. If you need the lace in other colors, please contact our customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org for customization.
11. Can I customize different density in different sections of the base?
Yes. Many of our customers order a lighter density in the front hairline to create a natural graduated appearance. We can also offer a lighter density around the perimeter to blend in with your hair seamlessly.
12. Do you offer a customization service?
Yes, we do. We offer a convenient individual service to create the most suitable hair system based on your specific needs. You can choose the hair material, color, texture, density, base construction, base size, base shape and hair direction of your hair system to make a perfect match.
13. What is Sezzle and how does it work?
Sezzle is a payment solution that gives you the freedom to buy now and pay later – with no interest! When you complete a purchase with Sezzle, they will break down the total cost of your purchase into smaller payments, spread over at least six weeks. As little as 25% is due at the time of the purchase, with the remaining amount spread out over equal installments (typically three), each two weeks apart.
No interest or processing fees are charged to you – as long as you pay everything off on time, you only pay for what you ordered!
14. Who can use Sezzle?
Sezzle is currently only available to customers from United States and US territories (Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands) or Canada.
You must be 18 years or older（19 years or older in Alabama）
Have a valid U.S. mobile number and email address
Have an active U.S. bank account.
15. Why wasn’t my purchase with Sezzle approved?
Here are a few reasons you may have been denied:
Insufficient funds. Typically, they check to make sure you have at least 25% of the total order cost available at the time you place an order.
Too new to Sezzle. The longer you use Sezzle, the better your chances of getting approved. Usually, they’re less restrictive after the first six weeks.
Outstanding balance(s). The amount you owe on previous orders and the number of open orders on your account both impact your chances of being approved by Sezzle. Paying off your outstanding balances can improve your chances of getting approved.
Order value. Reducing the total cost of your order, or splitting it into two or three smaller transactions, can improve your chances of getting approved.
Payments linked to your account. Adding another debit or credit card to your Sezzle account helps us understand your repayment ability, which can help get you approved.
16. How are refunds handled by Sezzle?
When a refund is issued, they first will cancel or reduce any unpaid installments, beginning with the final installment. If the refund amount is greater than all unpaid installments, a refund will be sent to the shopper's original payment method. Your refunds usually post back to their original payment method within 3 to 10 business days as soon as it is processed by LaVivid Hair. If you experience any further delay, we recommend you to contact Sezzle directly.
Example:A full refund is issued on a $100 order. The shopper has only paid one installment of $25. The shopper's other three installments ($75 total) will be canceled, and $25 will be credited to their original payment method.
Example 1:A $75 refund is issued on a $100 order. The shopper has only paid one installment of $25. The shopper's other three installments will be canceled - as those installments equal $75, no refund will be credited to the original payment method.
Example 2:A $95 refund is issued on a $100 order. The shopper has only paid one installment of $25. The shopper's other three installments will be canceled - but as those installments only equal $75, a $20 refund will be credited to the original payment method.
