Higher temperatures and increased sweat may require more frequent hair system replacements. For intense workouts or high-sweat activities, consider using Ultra Hold adhesives for extra security. For everyday wear and regular activities, standard adhesives are usually sufficient.
Hot weather, sweat, and humidity can shorten adhesive wear time. More frequent reattachment may help maintain a secure and comfortable hold.
Clean your scalp thoroughly to remove oil, sweat, and residue before applying tape or glue for better bonding performance.
A scalp protector creates a barrier between your skin and adhesive, helping reduce the impact of sweat and natural oils during summer.
For everyday wear, standard adhesives may work well. For intense workouts, swimming, or heavy sweating, consider stronger hold options like Ultra Hold adhesives.
Heat and moisture can soften adhesives over time. Regular maintenance helps prevent buildup, stickiness, and difficult cleanup.

Just finished my first workout with this unit and it feels great as if nothing is there. The hair feels great to the touch, and the hairline is very realistic. The only thing is, I am currently using tape at the hairline, which shines under light. I would appreciate it if anyone has a better suggestion. Thanks, lavivid

The hairline is great! I find the “feel” better than an all-lace system, as it feels more secure. The poly is great for tape. I also use tape on the lace, which is still presenting as a solid hairline. The color 18 is a great blonde and blends well with my “dishwater blonde” natural hair.

It depends on the base type. Full lace systems allow the most airflow because the structure is fully ventilated, which helps reduce heat buildup on the scalp. Hybrid systems also perform well by combining breathable lace with stable PU areas.
Full lace is generally the most breathable option because air can pass through the entire base. It is ideal for users in hot climates or long daily wear.
It will accelerate the breakdown of the bond. During summer, sweat and sebum will corrode the adhesive from underneath. This can shorten the standard hold time of the glue from 3–4 weeks down to around 2 weeks.
Yes, but it requires a specific combination of adhesives. If you plan to swim, it is highly recommended to use strong, secure-fit hybrid hair systems

Yes. Summer heat, sweat, oil, and humidity can make maintenance a bit more important.
Key summer care tips:
It depends on your activity level: if you have a low activity lifestyle, reattachment is typically needed every 2–4 weeks. For an active lifestyle or frequent gym use, it’s usually every 1–2 weeks. If you swim often, weekly maintenance is recommended.
Indirectly, yes. While heat itself doesn’t directly damage a hair system, summer conditions often accelerate wear when combined with other factors such as UV exposure, sweat buildup, frequent washing, and water exposure.
