Video Demo of Antimicrobial Effect on Hair Systems
To compare the effectiveness of Zeomic-treated materials, two groups were prepared: Zeomic-treated antimicrobial net and skin versus untreated counterparts. Each material was taped to a person's forehead for 24 hours, then removed and placed in nutrient solution for another 24 hours in a thermostatic chamber to promote bacterial growth. The results showed significant bacterial growth on untreated materials, while the Zeomic-treated samples had considerably less growth.
This video showcases the anti-microbial effectiveness of Zeomic® when applied to hair system bases,which may not be visible to the naked eye. Prepare two hair systems: one treated with Zeomic and the other untreated. Allow a bacterial translucent liquid to remain on the hair system base in a warm environment for 24 hours to promote bacterial growth, then compare the results. As depicted in the video, significant bacterial growth is observed on the untreated hair system base, while noticeably less bacterial growth is evident on the Zeomic-treated hair system base within the same time frame.
