There are two options to get your hair color matched before you buy a hair system from LaVivid. First option is that sending in your hair sample and we can get your hair color matched with your hair sample. However, this might doesn't work for people who don't have long or enough amount of hair to cut off for the sample. The hair might needs months time to grow, so you will have to wait a very long time to get your hair color matched. However, another option is that you can purchase our hair system color ring and match your own hair color at home. This is a much quicker way to get your hair color matched.

We recommend replacing your color ring every 2 years due to the possibility of slight color fade due to light exposure.

How does a color ring work for individuals?

If it is hard to pick a color through pictures, you can purchase our color ring to get your hair color matched. Then you can return the color ring back to us, and the money can be transferred to the hair system you want to purchase.

Difference between OT1957 and OT1951

You might have noticed that there are two color rings available on our website and they are OT1951 and OT1957. These two color rings have the same hair colors and they work the same way. Only difference is that OT1951 is more for salons and OT1957 is more for individuals. With OT1951, each hair color has 3 strands of hair. While for OT1957, each hair color has one strand of hair.

Not sure which color is the perfect match? We highly recommend trying a color ring first. To make it easy, LaVivid offers a Color Ring Loan Program:

1. Order your color ring and receive it.
2. Find your match. Once you’ve picked your color, return the ring within 30 days. The amount you paid will be refunded as store credit, which you can use anytime before it expires.
3. Please make sure the ring is in good condition so it can be reused before sending it back.
